Activating Accounts – New Corporate Domain

Attention Temporary Employees / Contractors

If you have a negative employee number, please work with your sponsor/hiring manager or admin staff to establish your basic computer accounts. This automated process is restricted to regular SAIC employees only and will not work and does not apply to new hires with negative employee numbers. Your sponsor/hiring manager should access Enterprise Accounts: Non-Employee or Consultant.

Activate Account

As soon as the opportunity presents itself on Day 1, please activate your SAIC employee account by following the instructions below. Please note that you MUST complete these actions within the first 24 hours of your Day 1. As a new employee you should have received an email with the following information.

  • SAIC Username: (your specific username)
  • PIN: (your specific 4 digit pin)
  • SAIC Account Challenge Code: You created this within SAIC’s onboarding system after you accepted your employment offer and completed your new hire forms.
  • Temporary Password: SAIC Account Challenge Code followed by your 4 digit PIN. (SAIC Account Challenge Code + PIN (e.g. OneSAIC1234)

Activate your SAIC employee account by following the two steps below:

Step 1: Register for Password Reset:

  1. Access the site
  2. Enter your SAIC username
  3. For password, enter your temporary password
  4. If prompted again for a password, enter your temporary password
  5. Provide answers to the three security questions when prompted. Please note that the answers are case-sensitive and you will be using these answers during Step 2.
  6. This step is complete

Step 2: Change Your Temporary Password:

  1. Access the site
  2. Enter your SAIC username
  3. Provide the answers to the three security questions when prompted. Please note that the answers are case-sensitive and must match the answers entered during Step 1.
  4. Enter your new password when prompted
  5. This step is complete

Note: The links above are accessible from outside the SAIC network and if needed, you can use any computer or device with internet connectivity to access them on Day 1.

After Account Activation

After successfully completing these steps, you should now have your:

  • Username
  • Password
  • Outlook /Exchange email account*
  • Registered email address**

  • Please verify that you have access by logging in to ISSAIC, the company intranet (username and password required).
  • Please contact your office administrator or hiring manager to complete your computer setup. If you've received an email address, you will be able to send and receive both SAIC and non-SAIC email approximately one hour after completing the above steps. You can access your email through Outlook Web Access (OWA). (You will need to type SAIC-CORP\username.)
  • Optional: Outlook Configuration for U.S. Residents
    If you've received your email address and would like to proceed with configuring Outlook, you can use to complete the Microsoft Exchange Server field. For configuration instructions, please refer to the Standard Outlook Email Software and Setup page.

* If you determine that you do not need an exchange mailbox, please call the Service Desk to have this mailbox closed.

** If you do not receive an SAIC email address please contact the SAIC Service Desk Toll Free 877-WWW-SAIC (877-999-7242) for assistance. Some divisions and locations have specific email requirements that cannot be handled automatically.

For online service requests (Non-Emergency):

Online Service Requests are processed Mon-Fri from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET.

  • Must be between 8 to 14 characters
  • Must contain at least 3 of the 4 character types:
    1. lowercase alphabetic (a-z)
    2. UPPERCASE alphabetic (A-Z)
    3. numeric (0-9)
    4. special - Special characters are all characters not defined as letters or numerals on your keyboard (i.e., ` ~ ! _ # $ ^ * ( ) , etc.)
    Note: The special character "&" is problematic for some SAIC applications. It is recommended that you do not use this symbol in your password.
  • Must not be a variation of your name or username
  • Must be different from a password used in the last 15 months
  • Must not contain spaces
